Step 1 - sign up to be an author

  1. Tell your parents that you want to join the coolest writing community for kids!
  2. Work with your parents to send us your email address to become an author. Send it to [email protected]
  3. The LWG team will review submissions and send out your Authors invitation link.
  4. Activate your Authors account by clicking the link in the email. It will come from Little Writers Guild and look something like the screenshot below...
  5. Once you click the link, you will be asked to create an account. Enter your Full Name, Email Address, and Password.

Step 2 - fill out your bio

  1. Click on the Staff link in the left navigation.
  2. Change your background. Pick something cool that reflects your personality.
  3. Add your photo. Make it a good one and don't forget to smile!
  4. Add your name and short bio. Be yourself.
    You'll also find below that other details and a way to change your password.

Step 3 - write your first post

  1. Click here to view site.
  2. Click Posts to view all of your posts.
  3. Click the + to open up the post editor and start writing.
  4. Click Write a new post to open up the post editor and start writing.
  5. Click New post to open up the post editor and start writing.
  1. Enter a title for your story
  2. This is where your story goes. The + option has some fun things you can add to your story. Keep it simple at first or start using the advanced options.
  3. This section allows you to customize how your story looks to the world. Upload the main picture for you story here. Don't worry about the rest. The LWG editors will help with this section.
